Terror (18) 35mm + Introduction

Dir. Norman J. Warren | 1978 | 84min | UK | (18)
John Nolan, Carolyn Courage, James Aubrey

Film director James Garrick (John Nolan) has produced a film about Mad Dolly, a witch who made a deal with the devil to gain vengeance on those who sought to execute her. Garrick insists the film is based on his own family history and when a series of mysterious and gruesome deaths occur after a preview screening it seems he is more right than he ever knew. This second collaboration from Fantastiq guests Norman J. Warren and David McGillivray took inspiration from Dario Argento’s Suspiria to create a stylish chiller which features some extremely effective set pieces shot in gorgeous swathes of colour.

This screening will be from a 35mm print from Norman J. Warren’s personal collection and introduced by Norman J. Warren & David McGillivray.
